Achievers' Meet 2023 organized by the Membership Committee of AAT Sri Lanka was held on 1st of April 2023 from 2.00pm to 7.00pm at the Excel World, Colombo 10. The event was exclusively for the Achievers Club members and held ABSOLUTELY FREE OF CHARGE.

Achievers Club has been formed with the purpose of building a closer rapport with the Passed Finalists of AAT Sri Lanka until they become professional members of AAT. Passed Finalists who join the Club are eligible for enormous benefits including career guidance, seminars and workshops organized to enhance their knowledge and skills, opportunities to follow advanced courses at special rates at AAT Business School and network with the peers and experience amazing fun filled events.

The event was illuminated by the participation of ravishing actress Sheril Dekker and the famous singer Ruwan Hettiarachchi who spent many hours with the audience entertaining and interacting with them making it really enjoyable. Award Winning and well-known Motivational Speaker, Bathiya Arthanayaka also joined in lifting the morale of the audience and adding an enormous value to the programme. Mr Naleen De Silva, President of AAT, Mr. Indraka Liyanage, Chairman of the Membership Committee, Members of the Governing Council, Mr. Tishanga Kumarasinghe, CEO of AAT, Members of the Membership Committee and staff of AAT also joined.

It was an exciting moment for the Achievers who have completed a professional accounting qualification to showcase their singing talents at the event through the Talent show which was the first item in the agenda after the inaugural proceedings. Shenuka Navod Gunathilaka, won the Talent Show while Ravindu Lakshitha became the 1st Runner Up.

Gabbing a lot of attraction, many Achievers presented themselves to win the Mr and Ms Achiever titles. Among many contestants, Promod Dilshan won the Mr Achiever Title while Yesmin Devanga was crowned as the Ms Achiever. They walked away with valuable gift vouchers as well.

The Award-Winning Motivational Speaker Bathiya Arthanayake elevated the value of the event by delivering an outstanding motivational speech which made the entire audience kept focussed and determined . His message of "don't ever miss opportunities" and "use your own energy to win" were well received by the audience.

The most looked forward to BOWLING GAME was held at the latter part of the event joining all Achievers most of whom were exposed to their first ever bowling experience at this event. This was played as teams and 8 Achievers were allocated per each team. Team "Ace" emerged as the winners while team "Commander" won the first Runner Up. Team "Fantasy" became the 2nd Runner up and the winning teams were delighted with the prizes offered for them in addition to the great Bowling experience they had. The Achievers were also given free gaming tokens to enjoy the gaming experience too. Adding to an array of prizes given away were the valuable gift vouchers offered for 5 winners of the raffle draw.

Nearly 100 Achievers joined the event and had an extremely special time spent in their lives having exposure to learn, network with peers, showcase their hidden artistic talents, mingle with famous celebrities, walkaway with valuable prizes, explore exciting bowling and gaming experiences, enjoy food, music and have fun among others. They were also given the opportunity to speak to reputed Audit Firms and Corporates to find career/training opportunities. The event was open for the Achievers from all over the country who valued the novel experiences they gathered at the event. AAT is pleased to been able to host this successful event completely free of charge for participants which has been appreciated by the entire audience a lot. AAT invites all Passed Finalists who have not obtained the professional membership of AAT yet to join the Achievers Club and await many more exciting experiences!
