Online payment facility for Student Exemptions Payment
Student exemption payment can be made online via www.aatsl.lk using a credit card (Master or Visa card).
Kindly note that only the students with active studentship for the year in which the exemption applied for, can apply for exemptions. Kindly contact AAT Sri Lanka (0112 559 669 / 0112 595 857) and check whether your studentship is active.

Obtaining a Student’s Guide
The Student’s Guide is a comprehensive manual that contains details about AAT Sri Lanka, the AAT qualification, Examination structures, information on how to register, details on exemptions and education service providers, amongst other key information. The Guide is compulsorily required for registration as it contains the application forms for registration and exemptions. Students applying off-line must purchase the Guide.

The following must be sent via post to AAT Sri Lanka
The duly completed Registration Application Form should be handed over to the AAT office or sent via registered post to ‘Head (Registration & Membership), AAT Sri Lanka,’ together with the following;
The Original Certificates must be stamped by the Principal / Deputy Principal of the Educational Institute and the stamp must contain the Principal’s / Deputy Principal’s name.
Please note that this fee must be paid at any branch of NSB or HNB. Photocopies of the Voucher will not be accepted.
The aforementioned documents must be received at the AAT office before the Closing Dates of Registration for each examination. Students should not that the registration form must be filled in and sent, regardless of which method of registration is chosen (if application is done off-line, the application enclosed in the Students’ Guide must be filled).
Closing Dates of Registration
You may register as a student of AAT Sri Lanka at any time. However, with regard to registration for AAT’s January or July Examinations, the following closing dates are applicable;
January Examination - Before the 31st of July
July Examination - Before the 31st of January
Student Identity Card
Once you have sent in your registration and your registration is approved, you will be issued a Student Identity Card. Upon receipt of your Student ID Card, you must place your usual signature on the space provided.
Late applications will be accepted within a maximum duration of 7 days after the registration closing date, upon payment of the following

Students should note that Initial Registration is valid until the 30th of December of the given year. A Renewal of Registration for the succeeding year should be completed before the 30th of December of the current year, until completion of the Examinations of AAT Sri Lanka.
Online payment facility for those planning to apply for AAT student registration
We understand that there are some students who have been following AAT classes / doing self studies but could not make the payment for AAT registration specially under the prevailing situation in the country caused by the Corona Virus pandemic. Taking this situation in to consideration where you are unable to visit the bank and make the registration payment, we have decided to accept student registration payments online via www.aatsl.lk made using a credit card (Master or Visa card). Therefore, we highly expect that you would avail of this facility and do the needful in applying for your student registration with AAT.

Considering the restrictions in posting the originals of the student registration application and the supporting documents under the prevailing situation, you can send the said documents via email. After making the payment online, you can email the scanned or photographed originals of your registration application and the supporting documents to email@example.com.

Special note: When scanning or photographing the originals, please ensure that they are clear and legible. One of your photographs should be pasted on the registration application and the other should be emailed as an attachment.

AAT conducts examinations twice a year (in January and July). These examinations are conducted in Sinhala, Tamil and English, island-wide, and are carried out in 14 cities across all provinces. A significant feature of AAT Sri Lanka’s Examination is that results are released within 60 days of the date of the examination. General Criteria and Information relating to Application for Examinations
You are eligible to obtain exemptions from the following professional examinations after passing the Level III (with the Talent Subject (BC)).
